MCKL Type

From 2016 to 2024, Douglas worked as a typeface designer for MCKL Type. In this role, he contributed to all phases of the type design process, making significant contributions to Specter, Logic, Owners, and Trust within MCKL’s retail library.

In that same time, Douglas also made significant contributions to custom typefaces created for MCKL clients: institutions like UC Berkeley, publishers like Bon Appetit and The Atlantic, and major brands like TJ Maxx among many others.
